About the role

Abercrombie & Fitch is hiring an Assistant Manager for its Hollister store in Wijnegem. The role combines business strategy, operations, creativity and people management: driving sales through analysis and customer service, overseeing daily store operations, and leading the team from recruitment and training to engagement and development. The company promotes from within.

Key responsibilities

• Perform opening and closing routines
• Supervise the sales floor and stockroom, ensuring excellent customer service and smooth operations
• Handle staffing, scheduling, payroll and train and develop non-management staff
• Demonstrate product knowledge and brand awareness while driving sales
• Build and maintain visual displays and protect store assets
• Analyse reporting to inform decisions and run inventory control
• Operate register and point-of-sale systems and fulfill omni-channel orders
• Represent the brand and embody company culture and values

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree OR one year of supervisory experience in a customer-facing role
• CEFR B2 fluency in English and Dutch, required
• Strong customer focus, knowledge of current fashion trends and a drive to achieve results
• Communication, coaching and team-building skills, initiative and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment

What we offer

• Starting annual salary of 35,375 EUR (range 35,375 - 35,375 EUR)
