Assistant General Manager – Restaurant Operations

About the role

The Assistant General Manager supports the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations at a Wendy’s franchise. This full‑time position ensures high standards of service, guest satisfaction, and team performance in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager with all aspects of restaurant operations, including staffing, inventory, and financial performance.
• Address guest concerns promptly and courteously.
• Coach and develop team members through constructive feedback.
• Communicate openly with the management team and enforce company standards and procedures.
• Maintain top‑tier customer satisfaction and uphold brand quality.
• Stand for 8‑hour shifts, lift up to 50 lb, and perform repetitive movements such as standing, bending, and stooping.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in quick‑service or fast‑casual restaurant management.
• Proven ability to lead, manage, and motivate a team.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to work a 48‑hour week, including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• Strong communication and multitasking skills.
• Positive, upbeat attitude with a genuine desire to serve guests.
