Assistant General Manager – Restaurant Operations

About the role

The Assistant General Manager supports the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of a busy Wendy’s restaurant. You will help ensure smooth daily operations, maintain high guest satisfaction, and develop a motivated team in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager with overall restaurant operations, including staffing, inventory, and financial performance.
• Address guest concerns promptly and courteously, turning issues into positive experiences.
• Coach and mentor team members, providing constructive feedback and fostering a collaborative culture.
• Communicate effectively with the management team and enforce company standards and operating procedures.
• Maintain top‑tier customer satisfaction scores and uphold food safety and cleanliness standards.
• Stand for an 8‑hour shift, lift up to 50 lb, and perform repetitive movements such as standing, bending, and stooping.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in quick‑service or fast‑casual restaurant management.
• Proven ability to lead, manage, and motivate a team.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to work a 48‑hour week, including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• Strong communication and multitasking skills.
• Positive, upbeat attitude with a genuine desire to serve guests.
