Assistant Atelier Manager

About the role

Frites Atelier is seeking a proactive Assistant Atelier Manager to support daily operations at its Brussels location. Working closely with the Atelier Manager, you will help deliver the world‑class frites experience created by three‑Michelin‑starred chef Sergio Herman.

Key responsibilities

• Support and co‑lead daily operations, bringing structure, energy and precision.
• Supervise team members across kitchen, counter and terrace, setting a strong example.
• Monitor food quality, service execution and cleanliness, adjusting processes to maintain excellence.
• Observe performance, collaborate with the Atelier Manager on improvement plans, and step into the lead role during their absence.
• Foster a positive, collaborative team culture aligned with Frites Atelier’s high standards.

Required profile

• Strong affinity for the hospitality industry and experience coordinating a team.
• Hands‑on, multitasking mindset, thriving under pressure, especially during peak hours.
• Positive, structured and motivating presence; confident in taking responsibility.
• Availability to work Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
• Fluent English; French or Dutch language skills are a plus.
