ASP.NET MVC C#/.NET Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Medior ASP.NET MVC C#/.NET Developer to join our Web Team and help drive the digital evolution of SNCB/NMBS. The role focuses on building scalable, reliable, user‑centric web platforms and integrating APIs across systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop robust web components and APIs within .NET projects, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Monitor and improve frontend and backend performance, maintainability, and stability.
• Collaborate with UI/UX, architecture and integration teams to deliver real‑time data flows.
• Translate technical requirements into clean, efficient code and define coding standards.
• Implement automated testing, code reviews and CI/CD practices to ensure quality.
• Stay updated with .NET trends and mentor junior developers.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on ASP.NET MVC C#/.NET development experience.
• Strong knowledge of .NET 6+.NET Core, Web API and RESTful services.
• Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and EF Core.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS/SCSS and front‑end scripting (TypeScript, JavaScript, Angular or React).
• Good communication skills in English; Dutch or French is a plus.
