ASIC Test Engineer

About the role

The Test Solutions team at imec is looking for an ASIC Test Engineer to act as the technical bridge between international customers and test partners. You will be responsible for defining, implementing and qualifying test solutions for mixed‑signal ASICs, memories and image sensors across various market segments.

Key responsibilities

• Define and plan work packages together with the Project Manager for each project stage.
• Set up ASIC test solutions with external test houses.
• Discuss prototype‑to‑volume ramp plans, including characterization and qualification, with customers.
• Organise volume production after the ramp phase and propose cost‑improvement measures such as yield improvement and multi‑site testing.
• Perform yield analysis for safe‑launch volume production.
• Stay up‑to‑date with the latest packaging and test methods through regular training.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Electronics.
• 2–7 years of experience in mixed‑signal and/or RF test solutions.
• Experience with automotive or medical qualification flows is a plus.
• Proven ability to work on project‑based assignments and interact with customers.
