About the role

The U.S. Embassy in Brussels seeks a professional Chauffeur to safely operate a fully armored vehicle for the Ambassador and Deputy Chief of Mission. This full‑time position involves daily transport within Brussels and surrounding areas while maintaining the highest security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Drive an armored vehicle safely and defensively, responding to potential security threats.
• Plan and follow primary and alternate routes based on daily appointment schedules.
• Conduct pre‑trip vehicle checks and ensure compliance with security protocols.
• Coordinate with embassy security teams regarding destination risk assessments.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Required profile

• Completion of secondary education.
• Minimum 3 years of professional driving experience.
• Good working knowledge of English and French or Dutch.
• Valid Driver's License C.
