Analyst Developer

About the role

We are looking for an Analyst Developer to join a logistics‑focused IT team in the Zeebrugge region. You will analyse existing processes, gather stakeholder insights and work on both legacy code and brand‑new projects using Java, Python, Groovy and JavaScript.

Key responsibilities

• Review and improve current business processes and related software.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to capture functional requirements.
• Maintain and extend existing codebases.
• Design and develop new applications from scratch.
• Work primarily with Java, Python, Groovy and JavaScript in a collaborative environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or Applied Informatics (practical programmes preferred).
• Minimum 1 year of relevant professional experience; recent graduates are not considered.
• Hands‑on experience with .NET, Java, Python, JavaScript, HTML/CSS or Oracle SQL.
• Proficiency with Git and standard version‑control workflows.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to understand the “why” behind technical solutions.
• Independent, proactive and clear communicator across teams.

• Salary €3,200 – €4,000 per month, depending on experience.
