AI Transformation & Operational Innovation Lead

About the role

As the AI Transformation & Operational Innovation Lead, you will drive the adoption of artificial intelligence, automation and advanced operational technologies across Pandox’s Belgian hotel portfolio and supporting functions. You will act as the central catalyst for innovation, shaping a scalable, measurable AI journey that enhances guest experience and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Define and co‑create an AI and innovation roadmap aligned with business objectives.
• Identify practical AI and automation opportunities across hotel operations, guest services, commercial activities and support functions.
• Guide the design, implementation and continuous improvement of custom AI agents and automation solutions.
• Centralise and professionalise the organisation’s AI journey, ensuring structured adoption and measurable outcomes.
• Improve connectivity between existing systems, reducing manual handling and fragmented workflows.
• Collaborate with support teams (RMC, PMI, Finance, HR, etc.) and partner hotels in Germany to share best practices and scale initiatives.
• Monitor hospitality and technology trends, benchmarking against industry best practices.

Required profile

• Ambitious, visionary leader with a strategic and hands‑on mindset.
• Proven experience in driving AI, automation or digital transformation projects, preferably in hospitality or a related sector.
• Strong analytical skills to assess current processes and define improvement opportunities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities to influence cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to work autonomously while fostering collaboration across multiple locations.
