AI Speech & Audio Specialist – ASR, TTS & Voice AI (Freelance, English)

Main Responsibilities

• Evaluate the naturalness, pronunciation, rhythm, tone, emotion, and overall quality of voices generated by TTS models.
• Analyze ASR transcriptions, identify transcription errors, accent issues, and linguistic nuances, then propose corrections.
• Perform professional audio editing operations: segmentation, cutting, noise reduction, silence adjustment, and sound‑quality enhancement.
• Use waveform and spectrogram analysis tools to detect quality defects and recommend improvements.
• Contribute to the creation, validation, and enrichment of vocal datasets for training and evaluating AI models.
• Ensure consistency, clarity, and articulation of voice recordings, complying with linguistic and cultural diversity requirements.

Required Profile

• Proven expertise in audio production, linguistics, phonetics, or voice technologies.
• Proficiency with audio editing software (Audacity, Adobe Audition, Pro Tools, etc.) and spectral analysis tools.
• Excellent command of English (native‑level or equivalent) and ability to work with multilingual content.
• Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and ability to provide constructive feedback.
• Prior experience evaluating ASR/TTS systems or creating audio datasets is highly desired.
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with distributed international teams.
