AI Language Expert – French

About the role

Alignerr is seeking native or near‑native French speakers to help shape the next generation of AI‑driven language tools. As an AI Language Expert you will evaluate and improve French‑language content generated by AI systems, ensuring it is accurate, natural, and pedagogically sound.

Key responsibilities

• Assess AI‑generated French speech and text for linguistic accuracy, naturalness, and educational quality.
• Evaluate learner speech and writing across CEFR levels from Pre‑A1 to B2+.
• Identify errors, unnatural phrasing, and gaps in the AI’s pedagogical approach.
• Provide clear, actionable feedback and suggestions for improvement.
• Collaborate asynchronously with project leads and fellow language experts.

Required profile

• Native or near‑native fluency in French.
• Experience teaching French or evaluating learner language.
• Strong written communication skills in both French and English (C1/C2 level).
• Familiarity with CEFR frameworks and learner speech patterns.
• Completed or ongoing Bachelor’s degree (or higher).
• Attention to detail and consistency in linguistic judgment.
