Accountant

About the role

iPify is seeking a motivated Accountant to join its growing finance team. You will support controllership in day‑to‑day activities, manage vendor and client flows, and contribute to month‑end and year‑end closing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform PI vs PO control, resolve internal queries, and ensure data accuracy.
• Communicate with external service providers on document conformity and billing.
• Execute third‑party account reconciliations and oversee vendor payment processing.
• Manage aging balance reminders and cash collection activities.
• Create and maintain dashboards and reporting packages highlighting control failures such as PI/PO mismatches and aged items.
• Provide analysis on control breakdowns and financial trends to management.
• Lead or participate in ad‑hoc improvement projects to optimise PO creation and vendor data quality.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing (VAT, statutory reporting, tax calculations) including journal entries and reconciliations.

Required profile

• 4‑6 years of experience in accounting or controlling.
• Strong analytical and reporting abilities.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Proven track record of meeting deadlines.
• Process‑oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
