Accountant – Finance Department (Benelux HQ)

About the role

We are seeking an Accountant to join our finance department at the Benelux headquarters of a global manufacturing company. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will take over responsibilities from the newly promoted CFO and work in a flat, autonomous environment. The role offers a varied set of tasks within a team of 100 employees, providing opportunities for growth and autonomy.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and quarterly closings as well as the annual accounts.
• Handle month‑end VAT returns and related filings.
• Collect documentation for audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Participate in the annual budgeting process, monitor variances and perform analysis.
• Execute regular accounting reconciliations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; basic knowledge of French.

Required skills

• Familiarity with SAP (preferred).
