Account Manager Fire & Security

About the role

Johnson Controls is looking for an Account Manager for Fire and Security to strengthen its Service Sales team. The role advises and convinces customers of Johnson Controls' products and solutions and drives the continuous growth of the company.

Key responsibilities

• Master the Building Efficiency value proposition by linking customers' operational and business objectives to Johnson Controls' solutions.
• Own and direct long-term customer relationships and partnerships, driving customer satisfaction through the sales process.
• Demonstrate knowledge of competitors' strategies, products and services to differentiate Johnson Controls.
• Explore, qualify and close large and technically complex sales opportunities, with a focus on new business growth.
• Create competitive, high-quality estimates, bids, proposals and cost/benefit analyses, ensuring compliance with company standards before presentation and closing the deal.
• Optimize terms and conditions affecting accounts receivable and ensure compliance with financial standards.
• Document all steps in the applicable sales tools and build a network of experts and industry contacts.

Required profile

• A relevant technical or sales education, or equivalent level based on experience in the fire and security industry.
• Fluent in Dutch, French and English, written and spoken.
• 5 to 7 years of sales experience, with in-depth industry and market knowledge.
• Strong contract negotiation skills and financial and business acumen.
• Knowledge of fire and security solutions is a plus.

• CRM for forecasting and tracking customer sales activities.
