Account Manager B&I – East Flanders

About the role

Wavin Orbia's Building & Installation (B&I) business is looking for an Account Manager covering the East Flanders region. The role sits in the B&I sales team and is split roughly 50% account management and 50% business development: you look after existing customers while also identifying and developing new projects. The focus is on above-ground solutions such as HVAC, sanitary systems and related building products, working mainly with larger construction and installation companies and distribution partners on a project basis. It is a field-based position with about four days per week visiting customers and projects.

Key responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to grow sales with existing and new customers.
• Maintain, develop and strengthen customer relationships in the region.
• Translate sales plans into concrete actions to achieve business objectives.
• Discuss quotations, orders and project opportunities with customers.
• Negotiate pricing and commercial agreements within established guidelines.
• Use CRM tools to manage the pipeline and customer activities.
• Work closely with Internal Sales, Technical Advisors and Project Teams, and act as a link between distributors, wholesalers, contractors and internal stakeholders.
• Build a strong regional network and turn opportunities into successful projects.

Required profile

• Technical and/or commercial education.
• At least 4 years of relevant sales experience.
• Fluent Dutch; English is a plus.
• Experience in solution selling and affinity with the construction and installation sectors.
• Analytical, solutions-oriented and creative, with a strong relationship-building mindset.
