Account Executive - Belgium and Luxembourg

About the role

Genetec, a global Canadian company offering security, intelligence and operations solutions, is looking for an Account Executive based in Belgium and reporting to the Regional Sales Director, Northern Europe. The role drives growth in Belgium and Luxembourg through proactive end-user engagement and close collaboration with the channel ecosystem, focusing on enterprise and public-sector customers and complex solution sales aligned with Genetec's unified security platform.

Key responsibilities

• Own the territory strategy: develop and execute a territory plan, identify strategic verticals and key accounts, build long-term account plans and keep pipeline visibility.
• Engage directly with enterprise and public-sector end users, create demand early in projects and influence technical specifications with pre-sales teams.
• Build relationships with security leaders, IT stakeholders, operations leaders and procurement teams, and support customers through evaluation, proof-of-concept and purchasing.
• Work with system integrators, consultants and partners on joint account planning and opportunity qualification, while keeping end-user ownership of opportunities.
• Manage the full sales lifecycle, maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline in CRM, achieve revenue targets and share market and competitive insights.

Required profile

• Proven success in enterprise or complex B2B solution sales.
• Experience selling software platforms, enterprise technology or physical security solutions.
• Strong track record of direct end-user engagement and consultative selling.
• Experience in a channel-driven or partner-based sales model and ability to handle multi-stakeholder sales and long buying cycles.
• Fluency in Dutch, French and English; preferred.

Preferred background

• Experience with video management systems, access control or unified security platforms.
• Familiarity with verticals such as transportation, smart cities, critical infrastructure, government, healthcare or retail.
• Understanding of IP networking, cybersecurity or enterprise IT environments.
