Academic in Psychology of School Learning and Digital Technologies

About the role

UCLouvain is seeking a full‑time academic to join the Faculty of Educational Sciences and the Psychological Sciences Research Institute. The position focuses on teaching, research, and community service in the psychology of school learning and digital technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and master programmes in initial teacher education, covering Sections 1‑5 and educational sciences, primarily in French and often at teacher‑training colleges.
• Supervise master’s and PhD theses, develop research programmes on cognitive processes in digital learning environments, and contribute to interdisciplinary projects within GIRSEF.
• Engage with school stakeholders, participate in programme and examination committees, and support the university’s international visibility.

Required profile

• PhD in psychological or educational sciences (or equivalent).
• Proven university teaching record with formal evaluations and an international publication profile.
• Experience abroad or significant international collaboration.
• Fluent French on start; English proficiency required (or to be acquired within two years).
