Workforce Planner

About the role

Swissport Cargo Services Liège is seeking a Workforce Planner to ensure that cargo operations run smoothly. You will align staffing levels with flight schedules, cargo volumes, and business needs, guaranteeing the right people are in place at the right time.

Key responsibilities

• Create and manage work schedules for various employee groups based on operational requirements.
• Monitor daily workforce issues such as absences, sickness, delays, accidents, and attendance records.
• Review flight schedules and adjust workforce planning accordingly.
• Prepare and communicate employee schedules within the defined planning cycle.
• Plan staffing levels according to cargo volumes, operational demands, and workload.
• Manage leave requests while ensuring compliance with legal and recovery leave balances.
• Coordinate workforce planning information with temporary employment agencies.
• Participate in projects aimed at improving workforce planning and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and environmental guidelines.

Required profile

• Structured and proactive professional with a strong analytical mindset.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Strong communication skills in French and basic English.
• Clean criminal record certificate.

Required skills

• Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
