Web CMS Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Web CMS Specialist to join our Brussels team. You will support the Learning & Development operations of EEAS by managing both the Drupal intranet and Moodle/EU‑Learn learning platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare Moodle v4.5 LTS for increased course‑manager usage and analyse migration to Moodle v5.x.
• Configure groups, categories, access structures and permissions in Moodle.
• Support daily operations of the Drupal CMS intranet Learning Center and EU‑Learn LMS.
• Create and maintain e‑learning content (SCORM, MP4, PDF, PowerPoint) and publish it on EU‑Learn and Moodle.
• Assist with audio‑video recordings, add closed captions, and manage manual/automated translations using .xliff XML.
• Provide second‑line support, translate service requests into technical requirements, and manage the functional support mailbox.
• Maintain documentation repositories (OpenText or equivalent) and edit Knowledge Base articles.
• Gather incident feedback, suggest process improvements, and support L&D metrics.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of experience with LMS systems.
• Solid understanding of LMS roles (editor, course manager, end‑user) and CMS roles.
• Proven experience with CMS solutions, preferably Drupal.
• Moodle experience is highly desirable; experience with other digital learning platforms is a plus.
