Vision Engineer VI

About the role

The Vision Engineer VI will maintain and enhance automated visual inspection (AVI) programs and ensure the robustness of all vision systems used in production. You will work closely with production, quality, and global vision experts to develop and fine‑tune vision recipes that reduce false rejects and improve detection capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise for AVI vision systems and support field technicians and production teams.
• Design control strategies that address variability sources across vision equipment.
• Develop, test, and validate AVI recipes, ensuring they meet performance and quality criteria.
• Lead investigations of deviations and non‑conformances, identify root causes, and execute CAPA actions.
• Mentor and coach the vision team, manage technical documentation, and maintain knowledge bases.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, regulatory standards, and GSK’s Quality Management System.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Engineering (Automation, Electromechanical, Computer Science or related).
• Minimum 3 years of experience with automated visual inspection or similar vision/automation technologies.
• Proven ability to develop and validate AVI recipes and support technical investigations.
• Strong understanding of GMP, regulatory requirements, and Quality Management Systems.
• Effective collaboration with production, quality, maintenance, and technical experts.
