Vice President of Export

About the role

We are seeking a Vice President of Export to lead and expand the global distributor network for a premium brand with an international footprint. Reporting directly to the CEO, the VP Export will own the end‑to‑end export business, focusing on Asia‑Pacific while driving growth across all regions.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage the global distributor network, establishing KPIs for revenue, distribution, brand execution and compliance.
• Develop Joint Business Plans with distributors, aligning local strategies with the brand’s global positioning.
• Lead distributor selection, replacement and expansion, especially in Asia and Australia, building robust business cases.
• Negotiate commercial terms, pricing architecture and contractual frameworks in partnership with Legal and Finance.
• Define go‑to‑market strategies for new markets, adapting to local regulatory, tax and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance and Legal to provide visibility on export performance, risks and opportunities.

Required profile

• 8‑12+ years of experience in international sales, export or distributor management.
• Proven ability to scale export or international business across multiple regions.
• Strong track record negotiating complex commercial agreements, including distributor exits or restructurings.
• Deep understanding of international market dynamics, with exposure to Asia‑Pacific markets strongly preferred.
