Vibrations Project Engineer – Power Plant Monitoring

About the role
ENGIE Laborelec is looking for a Vibrations Project Engineer to support the monitoring and analysis of turbine‑generator shaft lines in large power plants. The position is based in Linkebeek (Brussels area) and combines data‑driven analysis, client reporting and occasional on‑site measurements.
Key responsibilities
- Perform detailed vibration analysis of turbo‑generator shaft lines and rotating machinery.
- Identify root causes of mechanical and vibration issues and propose corrective actions.
- Provide expert advice on condition‑monitoring strategies for existing and new assets.
- Participate in remote condition‑monitoring service shifts and on‑call duty rotation.
- Prepare technical reports and communicate findings to customers.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- Strong interest in data analysis, reporting and technical problem solving.
- Customer‑oriented with good communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Fluent English; Dutch or French is a plus.
