Veterinary Internship – Equine Medicine

About the role

Join Via Nova Equine Services, a modern horse clinic in Bree, for a one‑year veterinary internship focused on equine medicine. You will rotate through four key areas, gaining hands‑on experience alongside Diplomate Specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in orthopaedic examinations and treatments.
• Assist in anaesthesia and both standing and general‑anaesthesia surgeries.
• Support internal medicine consultations and hospitalisation care.
• Engage in journal club sessions and present personal projects.

Required profile

• Veterinary Medicine diploma (final‑year students accepted).
• Fluent English; additional Dutch, French or German is a plus.
• EU right to live and work.
• Friendly, passionate, team‑oriented and professional attitude.

Required skills

• Diagnostic imaging (MRI, CT) knowledge.
• Equine orthopaedics.
• Anaesthesia techniques.
• Surgical assistance.
