Turnover Lead for Pharmaceutical Construction Project

About the role

PM Group is seeking a Turnover Lead to manage the handover process for a large‑scale pharmaceutical construction project in Geel, Belgium. You will act as the central point of contact for contractors, commissioning teams and end‑users to ensure a smooth transition from construction to operation.

Key responsibilities

• Become fully familiar with the scope, content and boundaries of allocated systems.
• Manage the turnover and handover process, including walk‑downs, punch‑list tracking, test‑pack monitoring and Turnover Dossier preparation.
• Prepare and compile Turnover Dossiers, ensuring all master drawings and documents are complete.
• Coordinate with the Turnover Manager and Construction Planner to update and communicate system status.
• Conduct early site walks to verify progress and quality.
• Attend daily turnover meetings, reporting progress and issues.
• Liaise with commissioning and user teams on turnover readiness and punch‑list status.
• Perform walk‑down inspections with contractors and end‑users to confirm system completion.
• Record, track and expedite closure of all punch‑list items.
• Collect and verify all documentation, test packs, drawings and certifications for final handover files.

Required profile

• Degree‑educated or strong trades background.
• Previous construction and turnover supervision experience (essential).
• Experience on life‑science or mission‑critical projects (desirable).
• Excellent reporting and communication skills.
• Team‑oriented attitude.
