Turnover Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Turnover Engineer to support industrial construction projects by managing the completion and hand‑over of plant facilities. The role ensures accurate documentation, systematic inspections and a smooth transition to the Owner in line with project objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and maintain the Completion and Turnover database, ensuring timely updates.
• Collect, index and make available inspection test packs and quality records for phased acceptance.
• Deliver the completions process safely and according to schedule, tracking punch‑list items and coordinating resolutions.
• Identify documentation deficiencies, generate discrepancy reports and keep the QC Manager and Turnover Coordinator informed.
• Import, export, merge and validate data from vendors or discipline updates within the Completion & Turnover Management System.
• Monitor Quality Pack completion, issue weekly status reports and support mechanical completion and commissioning planning.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in completion and turnover management for industrial construction.
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities with a detail‑oriented, proactive approach.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work within integrated project teams.
• Eligibility to work in Belgium.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (formulas, pivot tables, filtering, sorting).
• Experience implementing construction‑project databases (e.g., GoCompletions® or equivalent).
• Solid IT skills for data manipulation, import/export and system analysis.
