Technician – Operations, Administration & Maintenance (CTS)

About the role

The incumbent will work under the direction of the Cyber Security Section Chief to deploy, manage and maintain security solutions across the organisation. This full‑time position is based on‑site in Mons and supports both military and civilian users.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, configure and maintain McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator and related applications.
• Monitor endpoint performance, compliance and incident reports, and perform troubleshooting.
• Apply NCIRC product updates, policies and configuration changes.
• Prepare technical documentation for installations and configurations.
• Deliver security awareness training to end‑users and technical training to the cyber‑security team.
• Perform COMSEC duties as alternate custodian and support overall COMPUSEC activities.
• Use System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM) to push patches and updates.
• Assist with accreditation, status reporting and advisory support on COMPUSEC matters.
• Deputise for higher‑grade staff when required and undertake any additional duties.

Required profile

• Active NATO COSMIC TOP SECRET clearance.
• Higher vocational training with at least 2 years relevant experience, or secondary education with at least 4 years experience.
• Relevant IT security certifications (CASP, GSEC, CEH, or CISSP).
• Experience working in an international, mixed military‑civilian environment.

Required skills

• McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator deployment and management.
• Microsoft System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM) or similar application‑management tools.
• Microsoft Modern Desktop certifications (MD‑100 or MD‑101).
• ITIL Foundation V3/V4.
• Knowledge of NATO security responsibilities and structures.
