Technician (High/Low Voltage, Cable & Line) – Liège Region

About the role

Join Elia Belgium, a key player in the European electricity transmission network, as a Technician in the Liège region. You will contribute to the reliability and sustainability of the national grid by working on high‑voltage, low‑voltage, and cable‑line assets.

Key responsibilities

• Perform electrical measurements and test new equipment before commissioning.
• Maintain and inspect high‑voltage transformers, cables, and overhead lines.
• Modify and verify wiring diagrams and protection system settings.
• Carry out underground and overhead cable interventions, including work at heights up to 150 kV pylons.
• Ensure all activities comply with strict safety standards.

Required profile

• Technical secondary education certificate or a Bachelor’s degree in electricity, mechanics or electromechanics.
• Strong knowledge of electricity and ability to read wiring diagrams.
• Team‑player attitude with a proactive, safety‑first mindset.
• Willingness to work outdoors and at heights when required.
