Technician – High & Low Voltage – Liège Region

About the role

Join Elia Belgium, a key player in the European electricity transmission network, as a Technician in the Liège region. You will support the maintenance and reliability of high‑ and low‑voltage infrastructure, contributing to a greener and more resilient energy system.

Key responsibilities

• Perform electrical measurements and test new equipment before commissioning.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams for complex high‑voltage and low‑voltage systems.
• Maintain and repair underground and overhead cables and lines, including work on 150‑kV pylons.
• Verify and adjust protection system settings and bus‑system communications.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed at all times, especially when working at heights.

Required profile

• Technical secondary education certificate or a Bachelor’s degree in electricity, mechanics or electromechanics.
• Strong knowledge of electricity and ability to read wiring diagrams.
• Team‑player attitude with a proactive approach to challenges.
• Commitment to safety as the top priority.
