Technician – Antwerp Region

About the role

Join Elia Belgium, a key player in the European electricity transmission system, as a Technician in the Antwerp Region. You will contribute to the reliability and sustainability of the national grid by working on high‑voltage, low‑voltage, and cable‑line assets.

Key responsibilities

• Perform electrical measurements and test new equipment before commissioning.
• Maintain and repair high‑voltage and low‑voltage installations, including transformers, wiring diagrams, and protection settings.
• Inspect, intervene on, and repair underground and overhead cables and lines, sometimes at heights up to 150 kV pylons.
• Ensure safety of local residents, contractors, and fellow team members during all operations.

Required profile

• Safety is your top priority.
• Technical secondary education certificate or a Bachelor’s degree in electricity, mechanics or electromechanics.
• Good knowledge of electricity and ability to read wiring diagrams.
• Team player, proactive and ready to take initiative.
