Technical Services Manager

About the role

As a Technical Services Manager at Castrol in Ghent, you will lead the maintenance organisation to ensure safe, reliable and cost‑efficient operations. You will work closely with engineering, operations and project teams to drive continuous improvement and technical reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Embed safety as the top priority and develop a line‑centric maintenance organisation.
• Define, implement and monitor maintenance KPIs, analyse performance and drive improvement initiatives.
• Manage the maintenance budget, lead small‑to‑medium technical projects and support capital investment planning.
• Ensure contractor activities comply with HSE and quality standards, lead risk assessments and promote a strong safety culture.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, logistics and external partners to align technical decisions with strategic objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, preferably Electromechanics with a focus on Process Automation.
• Several years of maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience leading technical teams and maintenance organisations.
