Technical Service Team Leader

About the role

Socomec is seeking a Technical Service Team Leader to manage a team of four Field Service Technicians across the northern region of Belgium. You will be the primary technical contact for customers, ensuring the successful commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Socomec’s low‑voltage power solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a team of technicians, organising monthly meetings for workload distribution and alignment.
• Act as the technical field expert, providing hands‑on assistance when required.
• Oversee product commissioning on major projects, ensuring compliance with installation procedures, schedules, and customer communication.
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance, including timely part replacement and mission‑report reviews.
• Troubleshoot and perform corrective maintenance on installed products, delivering on‑site diagnostics and repairs.
• Prepare detailed customer intervention reports in line with Socomec standards, including usage recommendations and follow‑up actions.
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact, maintaining strong customer relationships and high satisfaction levels.
• Collect and relay customer feedback to internal teams such as Service Sales and Product Management.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company security policies at all intervention sites.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering.
• Significant after‑sales management experience in UPS or power‑solution fields.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop a technical team.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; working knowledge of French is an asset.
• Strong organisational talent with an independent, results‑oriented approach.
