Technical Lead – C#/.NET

About the role

Skywise, Airbus' digital services arm, is looking for a Technical Lead to drive engineering excellence across its C#/.NET ecosystem. You will combine hands‑on development with high‑level architectural leadership to build next‑generation services for commercial aviation customers.

Key responsibilities

• Define architectural direction, evaluate technical trade‑offs and manage technical debt for C#/.NET applications.
• Identify performance bottlenecks, lead deep refactoring of legacy .NET Framework and modern .NET Core code, and optimise SQL database interactions.
• Drive complex features from design documentation through deployment, aligning technical work with Skywise’s business goals.
• Establish coding standards, conduct thorough code reviews and champion AI‑assisted engineering tools.
• Mentor junior and intermediate developers, fostering a collaborative and modern engineering culture.
• Act as the technical spokesperson, translating architectural concepts for both technical teams and business stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of professional experience developing software with C# and .NET.
• Proven track record of providing technical guidance and making critical architectural decisions.
• Strong hands‑on experience in code optimisation, performance tuning and refactoring large codebases.
• Experience working with relational databases and SQL.
