Tax Manager – Tax Reporting & Compliance

About the role

The Tax Manager – Tax Reporting & Compliance is responsible for the full tax reporting and compliance cycle of GSK’s Belgian entities. The role combines technical tax expertise with strong accounting and modelling capabilities to ensure accurate tax provisions, timely filings and robust management of tax incentives.

Key responsibilities

• Compute monthly and quarterly tax provisions and pre‑payments for Belgian entities.
• Prepare annual tax provisions under IFRS and Belgian GAAP, including current and deferred tax, reconciliations and documentation.
• Execute SOX controls related to tax provision and reporting, ensuring audit‑ready evidence.
• Present tax provision calculations to external auditors and address their queries.
• Coordinate corporate income tax returns, transfer‑pricing forms and related filings with third‑party providers.
• Manage tax incentives such as innovation income deduction, patent box and R&D tax credit claims.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of Pillar 2 requirements and support related data gathering.
• Strengthen the Tax Control Framework, document processes and support tax audits.
• Participate in strategic projects, rulings, BAPA and MAP processes, and assess the impact of new legislation.

Required profile

• Hands‑on and deadline‑driven attitude, especially during annual and statutory close periods.
• Strong accounting and financial modelling capabilities.
• Ability to present complex tax calculations to external auditors and resolve queries.
• Knowledge of IFRS and Belgian statutory (BE GAAP) tax frameworks.
• Experience with SOX controls and audit‑ready documentation.
