Talent Acquisition Lead

About the role

This position is based in Belgium and offers the chance to lead and scale a high‑performing recruitment function within a fast‑growing global organization. You will combine people leadership with hands‑on recruiting expertise, supporting your team while driving successful hiring outcomes directly.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee a recruiter pod, ensuring focus, productivity, prioritisation and delivery against hiring goals.
• Balance people‑leadership duties with hands‑on execution of complex and senior searches.
• Translate broader talent acquisition objectives into clear priorities, expectations and actionable goals for the team.
• Conduct regular one‑on‑one meetings to discuss performance, pipeline health and career growth.
• Review and improve recruiting practices across sourcing, outreach, candidate engagement, interview processes and stakeholder communication.
• Coach recruiters on strategy, stakeholder management, sourcing techniques and professional development.
• Support continuous improvement of hiring processes to ensure scalability, consistency and a strong candidate experience.
• Identify and escalate performance or team‑related challenges, partnering with leadership on solutions.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in talent acquisition, recruitment or executive search.
• At least 2 years of experience leading a recruiting team, pod or similar talent function.
• Proven ability to manage a personal recruiting workload while developing other recruiters.
• Deep knowledge of the full hiring lifecycle, including sourcing strategy, outreach and pipeline management.
• Strong leadership and coaching capabilities.
