Systems Support Engineer

About the role

Spektrum is seeking a Systems Support Engineer to join its team supporting the NATO Communication and Information Agency (NCIA). The role focuses on Level 2 and Service Management support for incidents, service requests, change requests and related tasks, ensuring the reliability of critical NATO communication and IT services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 technical support for NCIA‑related incidents and service requests.
• Manage change requests, tasks and requests for information through the NCIA ITSM platform and Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with NATO International Civilians, military personnel and interim workforce consultants to maintain service continuity.
• Document resolutions and contribute to knowledge‑base articles for future reference.
• Participate in on‑call rotations and support internal activities as required.

Required profile

• Experience in delivering Level 2 support within a complex, security‑sensitive environment.
• Familiarity with IT service management processes and tools.
• Ability to work with multinational teams and adhere to NATO security standards.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• ITSM (incident, request and change management).
• Azure DevOps for tracking and workflow automation.
