System Integration Technical Product Owner – Life Sciences (Hybrid)

About the role

This 12‑month contract position supports a leading Life Sciences organisation in Belgium. You will lead the delivery and evolution of integrated manufacturing systems, bridging OT and IT environments to provide secure, scalable, and compliant technology solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead system integration initiatives across manufacturing platforms.
• Design and implement API, middleware, and enterprise integration solutions.
• Define technical roadmaps and manage product backlogs.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and third‑party vendors.
• Ensure reliable data flow between manufacturing and enterprise systems.
• Support continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in Life Sciences, pharmaceutical or manufacturing environments.
• Strong background in system integration and enterprise architecture.
• Experience with middleware technologies such as MuleSoft or SAP BTP.
• Hands‑on knowledge of API integration, cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and SQL.
• Familiarity with manufacturing technologies including MES, PLCs, OPC UA and industrial connectivity.
• Experience with data historian platforms such as AVEVA PI or GE Proficy.
• Understanding of GxP, FDA, Annex 11 and software validation requirements.
• Proficiency in Agile delivery, Jira and Confluence.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills.
