System Administrator – Web Hosting & Cloud

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled System Administrator with deep expertise in web hosting management, cloud platforms and security best practices. The successful candidate will manage our server infrastructure, ensure website uptime, optimise performance and protect hosting environments.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain Linux and Windows servers.
• Monitor server performance, uptime and resource usage.
• Troubleshoot system issues and optimise server performance.
• Implement firewalls, malware protection and access controls.
• Automate processes with Bash, Python or PowerShell scripts.
• Administer cPanel & WHM, Apache, Nginx and LiteSpeed web servers.
• Manage DNS, CDN and security settings in Cloudflare.
• Deploy and manage cloud services on DigitalOcean, AWS or similar platforms.
• Configure SSL certificates, backups and disaster‑recovery plans.
• Provide technical support for hosting clients and internal teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a System Administrator and Web Hosting Manager.
• Strong knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, AlmaLinux, Debian) and Windows server environments.
• Hands‑on experience with cPanel, WHM, Cloudflare and cloud providers (DigitalOcean, AWS).
• Familiarity with security tools such as Imunify360, ModSecurity and CSF Firewall.
• Ability to document processes and train non‑technical staff.
