Subject Matter Expert – Infrastructure

About the role

We are looking for a seasoned Subject Matter Expert in Infrastructure to lead the migration of Citrix‑related services to cloud platforms and support our virtual desktop environment. You will work closely with application owners and internal teams to ensure stability, performance, and continuous improvement of our infrastructure services.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the migration of Citrix services to cloud solutions.
• Guide application owners through cloud migration processes.
• Collaborate with internal and group teams to maintain service stability and drive improvements.
• Maintain and support Citrix, Hosted Virtual Desktop (HVD), and printing infrastructures.
• Manage lifecycle activities, including patching and capacity planning.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for Citrix, HVD, and printing services.
• Create and maintain technical and user documentation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure incidents.
• Participate in optimization and modernization of virtual desktop and printing environments.

Required profile

• Strong experience with Citrix technologies (XenApp, CVAD, StoreFront, WEM).
• Solid knowledge of Hosted Virtual Desktop (HVD) environments.
• Extensive Windows Server administration experience, including Active Directory and Group Policy.
• Proficient PowerShell scripting abilities.
• Experience with enterprise printing solutions such as roaming pull printing and direct printing.
• Understanding of SNMP and 802.1X authentication mechanisms.
