Storage Backup Administrator

About the role

The Storage Backup Administrator is responsible for ensuring reliable data protection across the organization’s IT environment.

Key responsibilities

• Implement, configure and maintain enterprise backup solutions such as Dell EMC Networker, Veeam, NetBackup, Commvault and Cohesity.
• Manage Dell EMC Data Domain appliances and oversee NDMP and tape library operations.
• Administer Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux platforms in virtualized environments.
• Support SAN and NAS storage architectures and collaborate with infrastructure teams on storage design.

Required profile

• Strong experience with enterprise backup solutions.
• Good knowledge of SAN and NAS technologies.
• Experience with Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration.
• Familiarity with virtualized environments (e.g., VMware ESXi, Nutanix AHV).
