Stock Coordinator & Logistics Specialist – Rail

About the role

The Stock Coordinator & Logistics Specialist – Rail will be responsible for planning and executing rail loading plans, managing inventory levels and ensuring timely delivery of finished products and raw materials at the Feluy site. Working closely with the planning team, the role supports smooth operations while maintaining safety, health and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define loading plans based on updated production plans and current stock levels.
• Organise rail transfers and deliveries of finished products and resupply of selected raw materials.
• Monitor railcar fleet availability, maintenance schedules and workshop status.
• Improve railcar rotation and follow all rail movements.
• Support system updates and end‑of‑month inventory reporting.
• Allocate rail tank containers (RTCs) to the appropriate products according to production needs, customer demand and maintenance status.
• Maintain up‑to‑date customer specifications for rail tank containers.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with rail companies and railcar owners.

Required profile

• Strong focus on safety, health and environment (SHE) when managing transport requirements.
• Ability to analyse planning data and translate it into practical loading and transfer plans.
• Good organisational skills to coordinate rail and road transfers.
• Proactive attitude towards process improvement in logistics and planning.
