Statistical Programmer – Waterloo, Belgium

About the role

Alsinova is seeking experienced Statistical Programmer Consultants to support pharmaceutical and biotech clients in Belgium. You will work on a variety of projects, from small biotech initiatives to large‑scale pharma programs, providing statistical expertise and automation solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide statistical consultancy on method robustness, process comparability, validation, specification determination, and process optimization.
• Design experiments, analyse data, and prepare reports or presentations for internal teams, clients, and regulatory authorities.
• Develop and maintain automated analysis pipelines using Rmarkdown, RShiny, and other tools.
• Create training materials and deliver training sessions to end‑users.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in statistics (PhD is a plus).
• 2‑4 years of experience as a statistician in pharmaceutical product development.
• Strong knowledge of multivariate analysis, experimental designs, and statistical process control.
• Fluent English; French is an advantage.
