Specialist Real Estate & Construction Financing

About the role

ING is looking for a Specialist Real Estate & Construction Financing in Ghent. You will support professional clients in financing residential, commercial and construction projects, acting as the central coordinator between clients, relationship managers, notaries, legal specialists and risk experts. The role covers the end-to-end management and execution of complex financing files.

Key responsibilities

• Manage complex real estate and construction financing files from approved credit decision through implementation and follow-up
• Ensure financing conditions and contractual requirements are met accurately and on time
• Coordinate all activities needed to complete financing transactions
• Act as the primary operational contact for stakeholders and collaborate with relationship managers, clients, notaries, legal experts and credit specialists
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and internal risk requirements, identify risks and bottlenecks early and escalate issues proactively
• Contribute to improving operational processes and share expertise within the team

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree, or equivalent experience
• Experience in lending, banking operations, real estate finance, construction finance, credit operations or a related field
• Fluency in Dutch; knowledge of French and English is an asset
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and organisational skills, with a proactive, ownership-driven approach

Required skills

• Knowledge of financing structures and complex credit documentation is a strong asset
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
