Sorting Team Leader (1-year contract)

About the role

We are looking for a Sorting Team Leader to manage a warehouse sorting team on a one‑year fixed‑term contract. You will ensure efficient, accurate sorting of goods and coordinate daily operations within JD Logistics’ fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop scientific sorting plans based on cargo volume and timeliness targets, allocate tasks, and coordinate equipment usage.
• Supervise sorting workflows, inspect compliance with operational standards, and correct violations.
• Analyze bottlenecks, optimise sorting paths and methods, and promote process standardisation.
• Handle sorting anomalies such as cargo damage or errors, provide feedback and coordinate corrective actions.
• Conduct random inspections to verify sorting quality and reduce error rates.
• Manage daily team operations, organise training sessions, monitor work status, and foster a positive team atmosphere.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align sorting activities with broader logistics processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading a warehouse sorting or similar logistics team.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to allocate tasks efficiently.
• Analytical mindset for identifying and solving process bottlenecks.
• Attention to detail for quality control and error reduction.
• Good communication skills for training and cross‑functional collaboration.
