Software Testing & Automation Internship

About the role

Join TUI's testing and automation team for a three‑month, full‑time internship in Brussels. You will work within an agile sprint cycle, gaining hands‑on experience with modern software testing methods, cloud infrastructure, and AI‑assisted automation tools.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in sprint release testing, execute manual test cases, log defects and verify fixes.
• Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts for core user scenarios using Playwright and Python.
• Leverage Amazon Q and Kiro to accelerate script generation, optimise test workflows and debug failing suites.
• Monitor AWS‑hosted applications, review test execution results and help maintain the automation codebase.

Required profile

• Current university student in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related technical field.
• Strong interest in quality assurance, software testing methodologies and automation.
• Enthusiasm for AI‑assisted coding tools.

Required skills

• Python (OOP concepts, data structures).
• Playwright testing framework.
• Amazon Web Services (AWS) basics.
• Experience or interest in Amazon Q and Kiro AI tools.
