Software Engineer – Odoo Customization

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer who will act as a Technical Consultant, developing custom Odoo solutions for a variety of clients. The position is based in our Louvain‑la‑Neuve office, allowing you to focus on development without frequent travel to client sites.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse client requirements and design custom Odoo extensions.
• Develop, test and deploy Python and JavaScript code within the Odoo framework.
• Maintain and support existing custom solutions.
• Tailor our SaaS offering to meet specific industry needs.
• Provide training and support to our partner network.

Required profile

• Strong passion for software development and quick learning ability.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Team‑oriented mindset with good organisational habits.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.

Required skills

• Python programming.

• HTML and SQL.
• UML‑style modelling.
• Unix/Linux environment.
• PostgreSQL with ORM experience.
• Odoo framework (ORM, workflows, reporting, BI, AI).
• Version control using GitHub.
• Object‑oriented programming and relational database design.
