Software Engineer – Odoo Customization

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our technical consultancy team in Louvain‑La‑Neuve. You will focus on customizing Odoo for a variety of clients, turning specific business requests into functional, maintainable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse client requirements and design custom Odoo modules.
• Develop, test and deploy Python and JavaScript code within the Odoo framework.
• Maintain and support existing customisations across multiple industries.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts to ensure solutions meet client expectations.
• Document technical specifications and provide training to partner networks.

Required profile

• Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
• Passion for software development and a fast learning attitude.
• Team‑oriented mindset and ability to work independently onsite.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• JavaScript development.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and ORM concepts.
• Familiarity with the Odoo ERP platform.
• Version control using GitHub.
• HTML, SQL and UML‑style modelling.
• Comfortable working on Unix/Linux environments.
