Software Engineer – Lead Role on Greenfield SaaS Platform

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to lead a new Greenfield SaaS product for the manufacturing sector. You will join an internationally active Belgian software developer that is a global leader in its niche, working with modern cloud, data and AI technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a development team within the new product program, from concept to delivery.
• Design and build backend services using .NET, ensuring high quality and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, prepare sprint plans and act as an architect.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide progress updates.
• Experiment with AI and large language models to automate repetitive processes.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Economics or a related field.
• Strong analytical, solution‑oriented and quality‑focused mindset.
• Fluent communication in Dutch and English.
• Motivation to build innovative cloud solutions and interest in AI.
