Software Engineer – AI-Powered Engineering Solutions

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join the Simcenter ROM team, where AI is used to reinvent the product design cycle. You will work on cutting‑edge AI‑powered engineering solutions that accelerate design for industries ranging from automotive to aerospace.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain AI‑driven software components in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Collaborate with product management, research, and UX teams to translate innovative technologies into market‑ready features.
• Design, build, and optimise high‑performance machine‑learning pipelines that process simulation and test data.
• Ensure code quality, modularity, and timely delivery through testing and best‑practice engineering processes.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related technical field.
• Proven experience delivering high‑quality software solutions.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset, collaborative attitude and eagerness to learn.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python.
• Solid knowledge of C++.
• Understanding of data structures, design patterns, object‑oriented programming, ORM and databases.
• Ability to write clean, modular and well‑tested code.
• Comfort working on both Windows and Linux platforms.
