Software Development Manager – Quality Assurance

About the role

We are looking for a Software Development Manager to lead a global team of software engineers focused on quality assurance within our supply‑chain planning solutions. You will combine people‑management, project coordination and technical expertise to deliver high‑quality releases.

Key responsibilities

• Coach, mentor and inspire a distributed team of developers, ensuring effective collaboration and skill development.
• Work with the Functional Product Manager to define reliable release plans and keep stakeholders informed.
• Oversee the full agile development lifecycle from scope negotiation and technical design to implementation, testing and quality assurance.
• Delegate tasks to technical leads, senior developers and the scrum testing team, while stepping in to code when needed.
• Facilitate cross‑team collaboration with other development, QA, testing and documentation groups.
• Travel internationally to support team locations as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading software development teams in an agile environment.
• Strong people‑management skills with a focus on coaching and feedback.
• Ability to balance project priorities, stakeholder communication and technical delivery.
• Willingness to work across multiple countries and travel when necessary.
