Software Developer & Test Engineer (M/F/X)

About the role

You will join an agile software development team at HMS, working on the core Cloud Platform that powers industrial communication solutions. The role combines full‑stack development with test engineering to deliver reliable, high‑quality features.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java and Spring.
• Build responsive user interfaces with Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Create and maintain a comprehensive test suite (unit, integration, functional) using Robot Framework, JUnit, Mockito, Jasmine and Karma.
• Write clean, well‑tested code for frontend, backend and test components.
• Collaborate with UI designers, product owners and other developers to define and deliver new functionalities.
• Manage code repositories and CI/CD pipelines in GitLab.
• Debug and troubleshoot applications across the full stack and produce technical documentation.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong focus on quality and testing.
• Excellent communication skills in a multicultural environment.
